“What the f*ck just happened?” is something a friend asked when we brought him to Party On. He went on to say, “It’s like everything that you’d want to see in Tokyo, all packed into one place.”

He was referring not just to the establishment but the entertainment they provide every night: a burlesque show. There are ladies in skimpy costumes dancing on stage with weird contraptions, guys in a Pikachu costume or in a dragon costume going around beating drums, and a giant bull statue in the corner staring down at the customers and dancers. Throw in intense flashing lights and loud music and you’ve got yourself a par-tay.

The show starts at midnight and lasts for about half an hour. Get there early to save yourself a table/standing spot because it can get pretty crowded in there.

Even after the show ends, the party continues in Party On. It’s a great place to dance and drink in. If you aren’t feeling the music that Party On plays, there are plenty of other bars and clubs in the area for you to check out, but only after you’ve caught Party On’s burlesque show. It’s a must-see while you’re in Tokyo.
