Nerima is a residential area that tourists almost never visit. We hop between local izakayas and standing bars. It is a chance to rub shoulders with locals and try dishes you likely won’t find on a standard tourist menu in Shibuya or Shinjuku.

The Route
While the neighborhood is set, the stops are not; your guide will take you to spots that suit your tastes.
Head beyond the tourist trail into Nerima, a residential ward on Tokyo’s northwest edge where menus are rarely in English.
The evening starts at a local izakaya with a welcome drink and a shared dinner of three to four dishes. From there, settle into a karaoke snack pub for all-you-can-drink, unlimited snacks, karaoke and a round of darts.
Close the night at a local bar with its own regulars and its own character; the kind of place with real personality that’s easy to miss without a local pointing the way.

This tour suits travellers who want a genuinely local night out away from Shibuya or Shinjuku’s crowds, and who are comfortable with menus that are almost entirely in Japanese (your guide translates and helps you order).

Over 4 hours starting at 18:00, you’ll visit three real neighbourhood spots in Nerima; the kind of places locals actually spend their evenings in, rather than a typical tourist nightlife route.
Meeting Your Local Guide
Your guide will meet you at an agreed point and lead you between venues on foot around Nerima. Japan’s legal drinking age is 20, so please bring valid photo ID.
A welcome drink and shared dinner at the first stop are included; anything beyond that, like extra food/ drinks or transport to/ from the meeting point, is paid separately.
Vegetarian and pescatarian needs can be accommodated if you let your guide know in advance.
