What You’ll Do

Kamakura was once the capital of Japan, so it is full of history.
We visit the Great Buddha and the Hachimangu Shrine. Then, we take a short train ride to Enoshima, a small island connected by a bridge. It has a nice seaside atmosphere, and you can walk around the island shrine before we head back to the city.

  1. We take the train from Tokyo to Kamakura.
  2. We visit the Great Buddha and walk through the historic streets.
  3. We stop for a local lunch near the seaside.
  4. We cross the bridge to explore Enoshima Island and its shrine.
  5. We return to Tokyo in the evening.
