The sakura is still blooming there and it just happens to be one of our favourite places to see the flowers in all of Japan. It is way less busy than in the big cities like Tokyo and Kyoto. You can visit stunning destinations that feel more like fantasy lands than a real place you can visit. Some of the places we recommend include Nagato Yumoto Onsen, Iwakuni Castle, and Kintaikyo Bridge. The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is officially opening for the season! Every year a road is carved through the mountains to create these towering walls. To get there, you travel using six different transport modes like a cable car, a ropeway with panoramic views, and high altitude buses winding through snow corridors.
