Akagi Shrine is said to be visited by many women as one of its deities, ‘Akagi Hime-no-Mikoto grants women’s wishes! The shrine was said to be established in the 1300s and is situated at the foothills of Mount Akagi. It is a very quiet and intimate place to go to appreciate the modern architectural design of the shrine.
